Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29, is National Biscuit Day, and Maple Street Biscuit Company in Killearn is hosting a dance-off in celebration. “Biscuits are what we do,” Bethany Willis, a manager at the Killearn Maple Street location, proudly states, so it is no surprise that this contest revolves around, well, biscuits. For one day only, if you perform this dance at the restaurant, you will receive one free signature biscuit sandwich (one per person).
This opportunity to showcase your dancing skills is called the Risk it For the Biscuit Dance-Off and will be the first contest of its type at Maple Street Biscuit Company. Willis is extremely excited for tomorrow’s contest, saying, “It’s going to be a fun way to serve the community.”
In addition to this first contest and delicious treat, a grand prize of free biscuits for one full year is also up for grabs, and all you have to do is post your Risk it for the Biscuit video on Facebook. Using the hashtag #DotheBiscuit, you can post your Biscuit Dance online and automatically be entered in a drawing to win this yummy year-round prize.
You can RSVP to this dance-off and share the word with your friends on Facebook here.
