Recently, Midtown Reader made a big announcement—award-winning author Kate DiCamillo is visiting Tallahassee this December!
Kate DiCamillo is visiting Midtown Reader this December as a part of her “Beverly, Right Here” 2019-2020 Tour. Midtown Reader confirms that DiCamillo will appear in the local bookstore on December 7, but event and ticket information will be released closer to the event.
DiCamillo was born in Pennsylvania, but raised in Clermont, Florida. DiCamillo’s most famous books are “Beverly, Right Here,” “Because of Winn-Dixie,” “The Tale of Despereaux,” “The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane,” and “The Magician’s Elephant.” She has received the Newbery Medal, the Boston Globe Horn Book Award, and the Theodor Geisel Medal for her works.
