August 8th marks International Cat Day, and here in town, there are plenty of ways to celebrate. It does not matter whether or not you have a feline friend—these fun opportunities are for all cat lovers alike.
Visit the Tally Cat Café — The Tally Cat Café is a coffeehouse with a mission to save the lives of cats in need. The coffee spot serves all types of coffee and delicious pastries in a space with a window to view The Cat Lounge. Join the cat foster program at the Leon County Humane Society — The Leon County Humane Society offers year-round opportunities to “make a space in your heart and home to save lives” by becoming a foster parent for cats in need.
