Tallahassee has much to offer to sweets lovers. With over 15 bakeries here in town, most of which are locally-owned, there is sure to be something for everyone at one of these delicious bakeries. Here are several to try out.

Tasty Pastry Bakery — Tasty Pastry Bakery has been a dessert staple here in town for over 50 years. The bakery offers cakes, cookies, pies, pastries, breads, donuts, and other pastries on their menu. Treva’s Pastries & Fine Foods — This bakery offers an array of classic bakery items, such as cakes, croissants, tarts, pies, and more tasty treats. Treva’s also serves specialty lunch sandwiches, hand pies, steamed buns, and empanadas for lunch. You can visit them at 2766 Capital Cir NE.

The Cake Shop Bakery — The Cake Shop has offered cakes, artisanal goods, and specialty foods to sweets lovers in town for over 25 years. From pound cakes, to cookies, to cheesecakes, to baklava, to quiches, this bakery has something for everyone and is located at 1908 Capital Circle NE.

Au Péché Mignon French Pastry Shop — This European-inspired bakery, which serves pastries, cakes, chocolates, macarons, soups and salads for lunch, and a host of different breads and imported cheeses, has been serving Tallahassee for over 25 years. Find them at one of their 2 locations at 220 North Duval Street or 1415 Timberlane Road Suite 109.

The Hawthorn Bistro & Bakery — A newer bakery to the food scene, The Hawthorn offers classic bistro food alongside their bakery menu. Shortbread cookies, tarts, breads, cinnamon rolls, brownies, and scones are among some of the tasty treats on their menu. Find them at 1307 N Monroe, Unit #1.
