On Saturday, November 2, 2019, Aunt Louise’s Farm will be hosting a hot air balloon ride event! Bring your family and friends for hot air balloon rides from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. on location at 8101 Waukeenah Hwy in Monticello, Florida.
Hosted twice a year, this event includes a 5-minute tethered hot air balloon ride which “will go up to 100 feet high depending on the winds.” Typically, 4 people are allowed to ride at once. Admission to the farm is $8 per person, tickets for rides are $20 per person, and children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Children 3 years of age and younger are admitted for free.
Inclement weather has caused this event to be rescheduled once. “The weather can change at any time, and we can only do so many rides so we recommend buying your ticket ahead and getting there early,” Aunt Louise’s Farm advises.
After your hot air balloon ride, you can experience farm life and explore their 3-acre corn maze, see a host of animals such as alpacas, pigs, peacocks, rabbits, chickens, ducks, emus, geese, goats, Highland cows, Zebu cattle, horses, and more. You can stop at The Sweet Shack for cotton candy, kettle corn, and candied pecans.
