Elf Night at Dorothy B. Oven Park — Hosted every year, Dorothy B. Oven’s Elf Night will be held on Thursday, Dec. 19, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. At Elf Night, you can sip hot chocolate, meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, and view the beautifully-decorated park filled with over 250,000 Christmas lights.
Victorian Christmas in Thomasville, Georgia — Thomasville’s annual Victorian Christmas, hosted by Downtown Thomasville, will be hosted on Thursday, December 12, 2019, and Friday, December 13, 2019, beginning at 6:00 p.m. At this event, you will journey into the past and experience a true Victorian Christmas with carriage rides, carolers, musicians, live nativity, and more. Christmas on the Square in Blountstown, Florida — Main Street Blountstown is hosting their annual Christmas on the Square event on Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 1:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m., with their Chamber of Commerce parade beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Holiday Stroll Through Cascades Park — Hosted by Cascades Park, the City of Tallahassee, and Tallahassee Parks, Recreation, & Neighborhood Affairs, at this family-friendly event, you can sip hot cocoa while taking a walk down the winding paths of Cascades Park, and enjoy performances and Christmas carols put on by local musicians.
The Winter Festival in Downtown Tallahassee — The Winter Festival, a celebration of lights, music, and the arts, is Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 3:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. Featuring the annual lighting ceremony and Jingle Bell Run, the festival concludes with their Nighttime Holiday Parade. Maclay Gardens’ Camellia Christmas — Celebrating the park’s 31st year of this festive event, stop by Maclay Gardens on December 6, 2019, from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. with the family to kick off the season. Take a stroll down the candle-lit walkway and view the blooming camellias while enjoying Christmas carols and hot apple cider. More information can be found here.
Annual Downtown Thomasville Christmas Parade — Kick off the holiday season at the annual Thomasville Christmas Parade! This tradition will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019, from 6:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. this year, and will include carols, candy, and more. Holiday Magic Concert with the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra — Experience a “jazzy Christmas” on either December 14, 2019, at 3:00 p.m., or December 15, 2019, at 8:00 p.m. with the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra. Carmen Bradford and the Leon Anderson Trio will join the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, with special guests from the Pas de Vie ballet at the matinee performance. Tickets are available now.
Just One More! A Holiday Art Festival with Downtown Market Tallahassee — On Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., you can experience high quality art, music, and books with Downtown Market Tallahassee. Located at Ponce de Leon Park and Bloxham Parks (between Adams and Calhoun Streets on both sides of Monroe Street), this holiday celebration will also feature food, fun, and crafts. SCIturdays — Winter Wonderland in Tallahassee at the Challenger Learning Center — From 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., children 10 years of age and younger can visit the Challenger Learning Center on December 14, 2019, to “make a snowman out of shredded paper, discover the science of snowflakes, explore how birds walk in the snow, and more.” Tickets are $6 for pre-registration, and $8 for late registration.
Yuletide Jubilee in Bainbridge, Georgia — Travel over to Bainbridge, Georgia, for a night of Christmas spiriti! Hosted by the City of Bainbridge and Downtown Bainbridge, this Christmas tree lighting event includes live music, shopping, tasty treats, and games for the entire family.
