These events, which are being held all across the city throughout the day and night, will be ringing in 2020 with a bang! Check out our round up of New Year’s Eve events below.
Countdown Downtown! at Cascades Park — To celebrate the new year, Tallahassee Downtown, Visit Tallahassee, The City of Tallahassee, The Downtown Business Association, TriEagle Sales,North American Properties, Governors Inn, Ashley Pyrotechnics, iHeartMedia, and more will be hosting a food, fireworks, and music show. From 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. on December 31, this family-friend event ends with a fireworks show, and more festivities for the adults will continue at numerous downtown restaurants.
New Year’s Eve on Adams — This New Year’s Eve event, hosted by Eve on Adam, Tallahassee’s newest spot downtown, will feature Dueling Pianos, “the best view in Tallahassee,” live music and a DJ, and champagne. Starting at 6:00 p.m., this celebration concludes at 2:00 a.m.
New Year’s Eve on the Island — Hosted at Island Wing Company, New Year’s Eve on the Island is for adults 21-year-old and older, and is a ticketed event. Starting at 9:00 p.m., VIP tickets are $5, and a firepit, a dancing area, a live band, and a free glass of champagne are among what will be included at this event.
New Years Eve Kids Party at The Sharing Tree — For a family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration that is perfect for the kids, The Sharing Tree will host a celebration featuring a balloon drop, bounce house, sparkling apple juice, light snacks, crafts, and party hats. New Year’s Eve Praise & Worship Spin at Redefine Fitness — A free praise and worship celebration, alongside a spin ride will take place at Redefine Fitness, a ministry of Thomasville Road Baptist Church. To celebrate the end of the decade, 50-minute time slots for spin rides will be free, as well as a time for prayer, and healthy snacks will be offered.
