On February 29, 2020, the 6th annual North Florida VegFest will take place at Tom Brown Park, located at 501 Easterwood Drive. Beginning at 10:00 a.m., the vegetable festival will conclude around 4:00 p.m. and is hosted by the Tallahassee Vegetarian Community. The purpose of this festival is to promote healthy and sustainable living and educate the Tallahassee community on how to live a healthy and compassionate life.

This year, attendees can expect healthy produce for sale, speakers and authors, vegan cooking demonstration, vendors, activities for the kids, live music played by local bands, and more from this free event. Free yoga, plant-based food samples, and animal sanctuaries will also be a part of the festival.

The VegFest is still open to vendors, including local farmers, speakers, animal shelters, musicians, and more. Vendor applications can be found online, here. You can RSVP on Facebook, and share with friends and family on social media, here.
