This year’s Tallahassee Balloon Festival has officially been postponed amid Corona Virus concerns. The 2-day long hot air balloon festival will now be held on Friday, July 17, 2020, and Saturday, July 18, 2020. Originally, the festival was going to take place on Friday, March 20, 2020, and Saturday, March 21, 2020, beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Tallahassee Balloon Festival released the following statement on their Facebook page:

The family-friendly event will include hot air balloon rides, food vendors, live music from local artists, laser shows, and more. A kid’s zone with bounce houses, mechanical bulls, trains, bungee jumps, and more will also be on site. The Kids Zone requires tickets ranging in price from $1-$15 for unlimited rides.

A 1-hour long laser and music show, accompanied by “visually stunning coordinated burns by the hot air balloons,” will begin.“Bring your blankets, chairs and umbrellas and set up your own viewing spot!” the hosts encourage. In addition to the food, shows, music, games, rides, and balloon viewings, craft and retail vendors will also be selling their products.

  1. I have tickets for the hot air balloon festival scheduled for Juky 17. Has this also been rescheduled?
I do not see anything on line. I have left several phone calls but have not received a call back.
