On July 31, 2020, from 7:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m., The Kearney Center will be hosting a drive-in movie charity event at Summit East Technology Park, located at 2073 Summit Lake Dr. Hit movie “Jurassic Park” will begin at sunset, or at approximately 9:00 p.m., and tickets cost $50 per carload.
Gates open at 7:00 p.m, and food trucks and a beer tent will be on site with tasty food and drinks for purchase. Rankin Tacos, 4 Rivers BBQ, and Tally Mac Shack are among some of the food trucks that will be on site at this event.
Masks must be worn when outside of your car, and hand sanitizer will be readily available at all food trucks, the restrooms, and the beverage tent. Cars must be parked at least 10 feet away from each other, and guidelines will be clearly marked throughout the technology park.
Opened in April of 2015, The Kearney Center is “a 24-hour comprehensive emergency service center that serves as a point of entry into assistance by coordinating services and responding to immediate needs of individuals and families until appropriate permanent housing can be arranged.”
Proceeds from the event will benefit The Kearney Center and their work during the COVID-19 crises, and tickets can be purchased online, here.
