City of Tallahassee Parks Holding Fun, Socially-Distanced Outdoor Afterschool Programs

The City of Tallahassee Parks will be offering a number of outdoor afterschool programs for children beginning on August 31, 2020. From 2:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. every weekday, these fun afterschool programs will be held at the following 7 Tallahassee parks:

Jack McLean — 700 Jack Russell Road

Jake Gaither — 801 Bragg Drive

Lawrence-Gregory — 1115 Dade Street

LeVerne Payne — 450 W 4th Avenue

Palmer Munroe — 1900 Jackson Bluff Road

Sue McCollum — 501 Ingleside Avenue

Walker Ford — 2301 Pasco Street

Pre-registration for these programs, which begins August 24, 2020,  is required for all children attending, and there is limited capacity for all programs. To pre-register your children to attend one of these after school programs, beginning August 24, 2020, call the respective community center to reserve your spot. The afterschool program held at Sue McCollum can only be registered for online, here.

At each site, a designated drop-off and pick-up area will be available, masks must be worn, and social distancing will be enforced. Children are only permitted to attend if he or she attended school that day, and sick participants will not be permitted to attend.
