Round Up of Socially-Distant Halloween Events in Tallahassee

TALLAHASSEE, Fla — Halloween in Tallahassee may look and feel a bit different this year, but local businesses, organizations, and companies are stepping up to provide the community with a number of socially-distant, family-friendly events to celebrate. Check out this ever-growing round up of fun, safe Halloween events here in town.

Drive Thru Trunk or Treat at Killearn United Methodist Church — This year’s annual KUMC Trunk of Treat event, hosted by Killearn United Methodist Church, will be held via a drive-thru approach. Located at 2800 Shamrock St S, the event will run from 2:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. and will feature candy that will be dropped into children’s bags through their car windows. Halloween Hayride at Happy Trails Ranch — Happy Trails Ranch is hosting a Halloween hayride event from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. this Halloween. Bags of candy will be given to children 13-years-old and younger, unlimited horse and pony rides will be given, and horse feeding will be done. Tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for children, and can be purchased via phone at (850)570-3026 or at the gate that day. Costumes and masks are encouraged. Check out the event on Facebook, here.

Drive Through Community Trick or Treat at United Church in Tallahassee — United Church in Tallahassee is hosting a drive-through trick-or-treat event on site at 1834 Mahan Drive. From 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m., attendees can drive up and will be handed pre-packed bags of candy through the car window. Masks and gloves will be worn by volunteers handing out the candy. Trough-Or-Treat at Redemptive Love Farm — Redemptive Love Farm, located at 9036 Magenta Ln, is hosting a trough-or-treat event with over 50 candy stations spread throughout their farm this Halloween. Only 50 families are allowed at the event each hour. Each station will be manned by a local business or non-profit organization, pony and horse rides will be given, and a scarecrow and trunk decoration contest will be held. Fall Festival at Calvary Chapel — Calvary Chapel, located at 8614 Mahan Dr, is hosting a fall festival from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. this Halloween. There will be food trucks on site, hay rides, games, candy, a petting zoo, and more. Check out the event on Facebook, here.

ALLinLEON – Drive-Thru Trick or Treat with the Leon County Sheriff’s Office — The Leon County Sherrif’s Office is hosting a drive-thru trunk or treat event in the former Sears parking lot at the Governor’s Square Mall, located at 1500 Apalachee Pkwy. From 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., there will be fun, decorated Halloween displays, 500 bags of candy/goodies for kids elementary school-aged and younger, and a food distribution for kids in need. Trunk or Treat, Drive-Thru Edition at Good Samaritan United Methodist Church — Good Samaritan United Methodist Church, located at 3720 Capital Cir SE, is hosting a drive-thru trunk or treat event in lieu of their regular, annual trunk or treat event. From 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., attendees can drive around the circular parking lot and pick up candy through the window, then vote for their favorite trunk at the end. Drive-Thru Trunk Or Treat at Champion Auto — From 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m., Champion Auto is hosting a drive-thru trunk or treat event for the kids in their parking lot, located at 2754 W Tennessee St. Kids will handed bags of candy through the car window. When entering Champion Auto, plan to enter through W Tennessee St and exit through Senator Pat Thomas Blvd. Check out the event on Facebook, here.
